Rammellzee Artwork

This 75 x 13.5cm artwork was created by Rammellzee to be the "artists' name" for his album "Missionaries Moving".

Gettovetts was the name of the trio consisting of Rammellzee, Shockdell and Delta II. Bootsy Collins also performed on this album.

The record label had trouble accepting this artwork being placed on the front cover of "Missionaries Moving" claiming it was "unreadable". I suppose those who were not familiar with graffiti or Hip-Hop lettering might find it hard to read.

After a battle with the production department, I was able to appease the label by including a sticker on the shrinkwrap in regular lettering.

This piece has some slight folding damage, but would benefit from a professional laminating to stiffer material and framing.

The piece is unsigned, but its authenticity is clear as I am listed as art director and photographer for the package.

The price for this original artwork by Rammellzee is $5,000.00 and will include a 16 x 20 inch color print of Rammellzee or the Gettovetts by George DuBose.
